Birthday breakfast with Daddy

June

JUNE...

• Back to Asheville for Aunt Carly's high school graduation!
  
• While in Asheville, Ellery discovered her toes. She sucks on them whenever she can. Sometimes they get wrinkly for having been in her mouth so long.
• Kevin, Betsy and Aidan visited us from Oregon. Lots of activities including Water World, fishing, go-carts, and camping in the backyard.
• Quinn, Dan and the kids came for their annual summer stay. Finn --age 3 -- liked to ask Ellery, "How was your day today?"
  
• Chris left the Rocky Mountain News for a job at The Community Foundation. He works right downtown -- 2 miles away. Ellery and I visit him at work when we're downtown. http://commfound.org/news/index.html
  
• Her four month check-up -- 10 pounds, 12 ounces, 24 inches long
• She laughed for the first time! She's talking a lot, watching us eat, and trying hard to roll over, but still does not like the car.

May

MAY:

• She loves the water! She likes to take baths in the big tub where she can float and kick.
• She does NOT like to ride in the car. At all.
• She learned how to use her hands and can reach out and grab her toy.
• She only naps in the sling.
• She loves to be outside and especially loves to look at the trees.
• Reid visited from Missouri. He went backpacking and found out that it's still pretty snowy in the backcountry.
  

Katie & Jeremy's wedding

It was an awesome weekend filled with family, friend, football and fabulosity. Ellery got to meet her whole East coast family, which she charmed. Unfortunately, she cried throughout all of the family pics.

Magic Sling

Here are some pictures of the Magic Sling. Ellery loves being tucked inside and falls asleep almost instantly. Lately, it's the only place she'll sleep during the day. She's our Velcro Baby!

Tall Baby

Ellery is growing so fast! She's 7 weeks old now and getting chubbier everyday. She just weighed in at 8 pounds 2 ounces. She's also getting a lot longer--she's a tall baby. She's smiling and talking a lot now too.
